Famous for rosé there is so much more to Provence! Discover some exciting wines from the south of France and look forward to vineyard and winery tours and tastings, food and wine experiences, Michelin star dining with wine pairing and much, much more!
Our tour includes a feature day with Maison Mirabeau for a tour of their winery with founder and owner Stephen Cronk and a tasting of their range of outstanding rosé wines!

The Provence wine region in South-Eastern France and the Mediterranean Coast is one of the oldest winemaking areas of France. Over 80% of wine produced is rosé but we will be tasting some fabulous reds and whites too.
There are 9 appellations within the Provence region, we propose to visit Côtes de Provence, the largest appellation, the centrally located appellation Coteaux Varois, Bandol, a small yet prominent appellation with a reputation for producing ripe reds and Coteaux d’Aix en Provence. The area is vast, from the seaside to mountains and scenic villages perched up high.
Thursday 24th to Monday 28th April 2025
Maison Bérard is our home for the four nights, a four star boutique hotel in the pretty hilltop village of La Cadière-d’Azur, offering panoramic views over the Bandol vineyards.
The hotel has a gastronomic restaurant and AromaSpa inspired by ancient Roman baths.
Rooms have flat screen tv, air conditioning and WiFi. Start each day with breakfast with spectacular views.
Please note the advertised season for the outdoor swimming pool is from April until October however this is subject to weather conditions and availability for use during the tour is not guaranteed.
Maison Mirabeau
The highlight of our tour will be spending a whole day with the world-renowned Maison Mirabeau beginning at their boutique and tasting room in a pretty village called Cotignac for a tasting of their exceptional Provence rosé wines and gin. We will then visit the winery which is not open to the general public. Here we will have a family style lunch and a tour of the Domaine lead by the owner and friend of Wine School of Cheshire, Stephen Cronk.
We will visit Château Sainte Marguerite, a Cru Classé vineyard since 1955, regarded as a pioneer for defining a style of rosé wines characterised by their finesse, fresh aromas and crystalline colour. We’ll learn the story of two generations of the Fayard family on their quest for excellence.
We are also visiting Domaine Leoube, owned by Lord and Lady Bamford.
The estate is surrounded by protected national parkland. A tasting and lunch will take place at the estate’s chic beachside restaurant on Pellegrin beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean Sea, a truly magical setting and the secret location for James Middleton's wedding.In Bandol we will be visiting two small wineries producing excellent world- renowned award-winning wines.
We have more fabulous winery visits planned in Aix en Provence, but these aren’t as yet confirmed as is our Michelin star lunch.
In order to maximise our time in Provence we will be meeting the following flights. Please do not book your flights until your place has been confirmed on the trip. We can arrange to meet guests who wish to join us from other regions of the UK or rest of the world but we will need to meet and drop off at Nice Airport around the following times:

Essential information
The trip is subject to a minimum number of 10 people booking, maximum 16 people. It is possible that slight changes may need to be made to the itinerary and these will be communicated to you, a full confirmed itinerary will be sent to you a couple of weeks before departure.
