Ticketing data
When you purchase an event ticket on our website or via secure telephone payment, the ticket holder’s name and if required their email address will be stored in our online ticketing system. Please be assured that we do not share ticket holder’s personal details with any other company and their email address will not be used for any other purpose than communication about the event they are attending, for example, to advise them of the menu detail once it is available. There may be an occasion where certain information such as dietary needs will need to be shared with our event partners who are providing the event food service included in the ticket price. On these occasions only the ticket holder’s first name and their specific dietary needs will be shared.
Purchaser’s data
The purchaser is required to provide full contact details including a valid address, email address and contact telephone number. We require this information for our insurance and should we need to reach the purchaser urgently close to or on the day of the event.
Online wine tastings
Our online events use Zoom Meetings and the access link for online wine school attendees is sent within an eTicket. Our ticketing system for our online events is linked with Zoom Meetings and an email may be sent as a meeting reminder from Zoom on our behalf. Zoom Meetings is linked to our ticketing system via a secure app and this app only has access to the Zoom account name and email address provided at the time of booking on our checkout page. This is only for the purpose of registering the attendee for their chosen event with Zoom and to send a meeting reminder. You may view the Zoom privacy statement at any time here. The Wine School of Cheshire may also contact the attendee directly via email in order to provide any necessary additional information about the attendee’s chosen online event.
Information we receive from third parties
We may receive your information from other people. This can happen when someone buys you a gift voucher or gift ticket. They give your name and if sending an eTicket or eVoucher, your email address, so we can send these to you and communicate with you about the event you are attending, for example, to advise you of the menu detail once it is available.
There may be an occasion where certain information such as dietary needs will need to be shared with our event partners who are providing the event food service included in the ticket price. On these occasions only the ticket holder’s first name and their specific dietary needs will be shared.
Please be assured that we do not share ticket holder’s personal details with any other company and your email address will not be used for any other purpose other than stated above, unless you have given consent for us to so so.
