What's included

Forest Gin produce exceptional spirits which are distilled in small batches at their distillery in the glorious Macclesfield Forest.

They are a truly family company: Lindsay & Karl Bond are the husband & wife team in charge of the still, bottling, management, sales & shipping.  Harriet Bond (aged 10) is the boss! She leads all foraging missions, and is an expert in knowing the best spots for juicy bilberries & ripe raspberries. Hattie would actually prefer it if you did not any Gin, as any left over berries end up in her porridge every morning!

The Forrest Distillery’s goal is to make the best tasting Gin that they possibly can, from the finest locally sourced ingredients where possible. They do as much as possible by hand – right down to the bottling. The distillery is an amazing place to visit and the gins they produce more amazing!

Forest Gin is a hand-crafted, small-batch gin that is produced using a range of botanicals native to Macclesfield Forest. Lovingly crafted by husband and wife team Lindsay & Karl Bond, the locally sourced ingredients include a range of foraged forest botanicals including wild Bilberries, wild Gorse Flowers, wild Raspberries, and local Moss – which is combined with organic certified juniper berries and organic certified coriander seeds. These are distilled with an Organic grain spirit and then blended with the softest, purest local spring water to give a Premium London Dry Gin of outstanding quality. Incredibly fresh and complex, this gin is packed with flavour, and is delicious to enjoy either neat or mixed with tonic water. In addition, Forest Gin is beautifully presented in a unique English Porcelain bottle by Wade Ceramics, which can be kept as a striking storage vessel. The artwork adopted represents a one of a kind commission by the talented Papercut artist Suzy Taylor, who hand cuts all of her artwork from a single piece of paper.

Earl Grey Forest Gin is the second product to be produced by the Bond family from their award winning distillery. The family pick ingredients from their local forest such as bilberry, wild raspberry, gorse flower, pine and moss. These are ground by hand in a pestle & mortar with traditional gin ingredients, including Organic Juniper, Organic coriander seed, liquorice and vanilla.

These freshly ground ingredients are then distilled just once in their tiny 30 litre pot still, before the addition of an incredible blend of Earl Grey Tea by Cheshire blenders Quinteassential, along with their own spring water from the Peak District.

The resulting spirit retains all of the herbal, earthy flavours of Forest Gin, whilst the addition of the Earl Grey Tea blend adds sumptuous, delicate notes from oolong, cornflowers and Sicilian bergamot.
