What's included

It’s time to look to a new season as we say goodbye to darker evenings for spring will be upon us so it’s time to choose some fantastic wines to enjoy over the coming weeks. Our personally selected wines will offer an insight to seasonal food and wine matching and of course there will be some great wine treats to enjoy on their own too.

We’re delighted to be hosting this entertaining evening at Arighi Bianchi Macclesfield where you’ll enjoy delicious canapés and an amazing cheeseboard from the team at CaféBar Arighi which we have chosen to perfectly pair with each of the six wines we’ve selected for your evening with us.

Expect a great selection of wines, all of which will be sourced from our favourite local stores such as Corks Out, Booths and M&S, proving that you don’t have to break the bank to enjoy great wines from Italy.

Canapés and cheeses will be served during the evening, paired with our wine selection.

Vegetarian and specialist dietary options are always available by prior arrangement.

Your wine school host

The evening will be hosted by our Founder, Richard Smith, who will share with you some of his twenty five years knowledge of all things wine as well as some anecdotes (but alas, no secrets) from his time as a butler. Richard trained at one of the world’s finest hotels and is proud to have advised several members of the British Royal Family and a number of international heads of state and celebrities. Richard has recently been featured in The Daily Mail and Cheshire Life magazine and he regularly writes for The Taster magazine. He most recently appeared at Three Wine Men in Manchester alongside TV wine legends Oz Clarke, Olly Smith and Tim Atkin MW.
